Part one: examination and tests

 

   - Blood pressure check

   - Comprehensive blood analysis

   - Body mass index (BMI)

   - Electrocardiogram (ECG) - resting

   - Chest X-ray (if clinically needed)

   - Liquid based cervical smear (if clinically needed)

   - Mammography from age 40 (available upon doctor's request, additional charge)

   - Exercise ECG (available upon doctor's request, additional charge)

   - Vision test

   - Hearing test

   - Cardio-respiratory system

   - Musculo-skeletal system

   - Central nervous system

   - Glands

   - Eyes, ears, nose and throat

   - Head, neck and skin

Part two: the consultation

 

   - History of symptoms

   - Medical history

   - Allergies and medication history

   - Obstetric and gynaecological history

   - Social history and lifestyle

   - Family medical history

   - Discussion of current health concerns

 

 

 

Part three: written medical report

 

A full report, written by the examining doctor will be sent to you within ten working days.  The report will contain details of your test results and consultation, with advice and recommendations for future well-being.  A copy can also be sent to your GP on request.
