Pathology laboratory services

The London Clinic Pathology provides outpatients with a comprehensive diagnostic service, using advanced techniques and fully computerised laboratories on a 24/7 basis.

A new state-of-the-art Pathology department has been constructed to serve The London Clinic and local consultants, incorporating new technologies in a larger, purpose-built space.

You can rest assured that your results are of the highest quality. All procedures are performed

by senior biomedical scientists registered with the Health Professions Council and each discipline is led by pathologists who subspecialise in their field.

Our laboratories use a sophisticated quality-management system to ensure investigation procedures are performed to the highest possible standard. We fully participate in National External Quality Assurance Schemes (NEQAS) as well as strict internal quality assurance and audit programmes.

Hours of operation

Laboratory opening times: 

8am - 8pm Monday to Friday

9am - 1pm Saturday

Outpatient phlebotomy opening times:

8.30am - 7pm Monday to Friday

9am - 1pm      Saturday 

Please come to ground floor of 5 Devonshire Place to have your blood drawn.

Domiciliary Visits

A member of our phlebotomy team can attend to take blood at a patient's home address if required.  There is a charge for this service.  Visits are made between 9.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Referrals

The service is available to all patients referred by letter from a GP or clinician.
