Impression of the completed cancer centre
As a non profit hospital, we are uniquely able to concentrate
our investment in the very latest technology and equipment.
The development of a £70M cancer centre and recent expansion of the
ICU to accommodate liver transplants is widening the number of
complex procedures that that the hospital undertakes.
The new cancer centre site is located across
from the main hospital entrance at 20 Devonshire Place, at 60-62
Marylebone High Street and 21-22 Devonshire Place. Works are
going strong with the three basement storeys now complete - we
shall shortly see the new building emerging above the hoarding.
The impressive 7,500m building will comprise
individual bedrooms and day care pods in a modern purpose-built
environment. It will provide radiotherapy, chemotherapy, transplant
and other specialist haematology/oncology facilities.
