From the Chief Executive’s
Office
We are proud to announce our £70M investment
in the future of cancer care in London. We believe that our
expansion programme and investment in progressive technology will
exemplify our commitment to patients, their families and all
healthcare professionals.
Our vision for this new building is to offer
cancer patients an environment specifically designed with patients
in mind and to deliver both a holistic and progressive approach to
the treatment of cancer. We also want it to offer optimism and hope
for all those people who come through the doors regardless of
whether they are consultants, patients, and their
relatives, staff or visitors.
We aim for it to be a centre providing care
for each individual patient depending on their personal needs and
to inspire consultants to deliver this care here. We see it being a
place where people choose to come because we offer the best of
everything.
The new building, which will be operational in
late 2009, will be fully equipped with the most advanced and
the latest state-of-the-art technology to ensure you can offer
patients optimism and the best possible chance of both hope and
cutting edge care.
It is our 75th anniversary year and
we are proud to be taking the next step in our strategic
development programme. For 75 years the Clinic has been a pillar of
strength and excellence in London’s medical community, the heart of
which is on Harley Street.
TLC has worked closely with Westminster
Council, Howard de Walden, financiers, private medical insurance
organisations and the local community to ensure that this
prestigious new development demonstrates both a commitment and
dedication to the future of medical treatment in the neighbourhood
as well as maintaining visual links with the renowned heritage of
the area.
It is a very exciting time for us here at The
London Clinic and I want to invite you to share our enthusiasm, our
excitement and our commitment to this programme.
