Clinical procedure rooms in 5 Devonshire Place now available to
all The London Clinic consultants
There are 5 clinical procedure rooms and a plaster room
available in our new Outpatient Centre at 5 Devonshire Place for
the use by any consultant in rooms or holding admitting privileges
at The London Clinic.
Each brand new clinical procedure room provides a medical
environment to accommodate a range of minor procedures such as:
- Sterile dressings
- Suture removal either by nurse or Consultant
- Minor procedures under local anaesthetic such as: excision of
lesion, mole removal, minor
scar revision and drainage of abscess
- Laser hair
removal
- Catheterization
- Gynaecological procedures; e.g. insertion of IUCD and hormone
implant
- Application and removal of plaster cast by an orthopaedic
technician
Please be advised that if a minor procedure requires
anaesthestic, only local can be used as there is no post procedure
recovery area. Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to accept
bookings for children.

These clinical procedure rooms are currently available on a
first come first serve basis from Monday to Friday, between 8.00am
and 5.00pm. Please contact us for special arrangements if you would
like to book time outside our regular working hours. All clinical
procedure rooms not in use will be locked at all times.
